Mission Statement and Vision:
The premise behind DISH is to engage food lovers and those curious about food by providing exciting content in the joy of eating, sampling, cooking, dining and the thrill associated with experiencing new food. Our mission is to highlight the flair and flavor of Caribbean food while introducing the variety of island dishes to the palates of those who reside and travel to the US and British Virgin Islands.
DISH covers the exciting elements of food and incorporates the elements that are indigenous to the Caribbean by providing engaging content in our articles and reviews and highlighting the numerous culinary destinations and festive events that take place around this region. We aim to be an insightful and informative publication providing content useful for people living and traveling to the beautiful US and British Virgin Islands.
Restaurants will highlight the various restaurants, eateries and dining facilities in the Virgin Islands. This section will include restaurant reviews, ratings and listings of the best locations for the selected topic.
Recipes are some of the most coveted possessions in one’s armory of cooking tools. DISH will provide readers with a collection of recipes from the top chefs, local cooks and food enthusiasts in the Caribbean and abroad.
The Dish is a kaleidoscope of content where our columnists provide you with advice, suggestions and information pertaining to food; our book list will be worth the read (or purchase); and we also feature public feedback and opinions through our Debatable section.
